The light-emitting diode package is the package of the light-emitting chip, and the integrated circuit package is very different. Led packages require not only protection of the wick, but also adequate light transmittance. According to the actual application, external size, heat dissipation scheme, lighting and other functions are different, LED packaging methods are also diverse.

Methods/Steps

1. Cleaning: Clean PCB or LED bracket with ultrasonic wave and let dry.

2. Mounting: Prepare the silver paste on the bottom electrode of the LED tube core, unfold it, place the expanded tube core on the stabbing table, and mount the tube core one by one on the corresponding pad of the PCB or LED under the microscope with the stabbing pen, and then sintering the silver paste.

3. Bonding: Use aluminum wire or gold wire welding machine to connect the electrode to the LED tube core as the lead for current injection. The LED is installed directly on the PCB, generally using an aluminum wire welder.

4. Package: LED chip and welding wire are protected by epoxy resin dispensing. Dispensing on the PCB has strict requirements for the shape of the curing glue, which is directly related to the brightness of the finished backlight. This process will also take on the task of adding phosphor.

5. Welding: If the backlight is an SMD-LED or other packaged LED, the LED needs to be welded to the PCB before the assembly process.

6. Die cutting: Die cutting a variety of diffusion film, reflective film, etc. Backlight takes a punch.

7. Assembly steps: According to the requirements of the drawing, manually install the various materials of the backlight in the correct position.

8. Test steps: Check whether the photoelectric parameters of the backlight and the uniformity of the light output are good.

9. Packaging steps: The finished product will be packed into the warehouse as required.
