With the advantages of large transient power, low leakage current, small breakdown voltage deviation, easy control of clamp voltage, fast response, high reliability, small size, TVS diodes can be seen in household appliances, automobiles, computer systems, instrumentation, communication equipment, AC/DC power supplies and other fields. The three characteristics of TVS diode application are as follows:

1) When TVS is added to the signal and power line, it can protect the microprocessor or MCU from electrostatic discharge effect, surge and switching power supply noise damage;

2) The electrostatic discharge effect releases pulses above 1000V and 60A, and lasts for 10ms, the general TTL device simply cannot play a protective role, and the use of TVS diodes can effectively absorb and eliminate the interference caused by the switch between the bus;

3) The transient voltage suppressor is placed in the signal line and ground to avoid the data and control bus from unnecessary noise;
