Chip resistor capacitor, also known as ceramic multilayer chip capacitor, is a ceramic powder production technology, the internal precious metal palladium gold, by high temperature sintering method silver plated on the ceramic as an electrode. There are three types of high voltage chip capacitors:

One is the temperature compensation NPO medium NP0, also known as COG electrical performance stability, basically does not change with temperature, voltage, time, belongs to the ultra-stable, low loss capacitor material type, suitable for high frequency, ultra high frequency, VHF circuit with high stability and reliability requirements, SMB/SMC/SMA series diodes.


The second type is the high dielectric constant type X7R dielectric X7R is a strong dielectric, so it can produce a capacitor with a larger capacity than the NPO dielectric. The performance of this capacitor is relatively stable, with the change of temperature and voltage time, its unique performance change is not significant, belongs to the type of stable capacitor material, used in straight separation, coupling, bypass, filter circuit and high reliability requirements of high frequency circuit.


The third type is semiconductor X5R dielectric X5R has a high dielectric constant, which is often used to produce large-capacity capacitor products with large specific capacitance and high nominal capacity.
